Use your website tools and keep doing business during social distancing.
It goes without saying that right now would be a good time to reach out to your customers.
The entire team at FDI Creative is constantly trying to imagine new ways that we can support our clients and help their businesses thrive.
Many of you are worried about the current state of affairs and how this will effect your business over the next weeks and months. To try to help, we have put together a few ideas that you can implement now. Using technology you may already have, you can get out in front of your customers and not just survive the storm, but thrive!
Put together an online newsletter to stay connected to your customers.
With the majority of people working from home this month, your company's ability to do business with your customers will be effected. Everything from signing new deals, scheduled client meetings or wrapping up open projects will present new challenges. In a very short period of time, FDI Creative can help you sign up for a broadcast email system like Constant Contact or MailChimp. You can upload your customer database and fire off hundreds or thousands of emails. Stay in front of your clients and let them know you are there for them. Let your customers know that you are standing by to go the extra mile for them in any way you can. Keep the dialogue alive and thrive!
When's the last time you posted to your company blog?
Most of the websites we build for our clients have a news or blog area, so it's likely that you have one. Unfortunately, this is an under-utilized feature that few have not taken advantage of. In just a few minutes, you can log into your website and post information important to your customers. If your business has resources that you can use to help your neighbors, now would be the time to step up and pitch in. Your blog can act as a valuable resource in your community. You can share your blog post to all of your social media outlets to cast a wide net and reach as many people as possible.
Connect with clients through social media!
Using your company's Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter Feed is a free and non intrusive way to stay in front of your customers. I regularly visit our clients Facebook pages to see what they're up to and in a large percentage of cases, the page hasn't been updated in months or years. Start using this free resource and as a "pro-tip", a short 30 second video selfie, will have hundreds of times the impact than a paragraph and a picture. Give us a call and we can show you how to do it!
If you need help with any of these ideas, we would love to hear from you. We are stronger together! Talk to you soon.
